History

 

The University started its activities in 2006 with the installation of the Rectory in Nampula, one of the three sites previewed in its Main Plan - Nampula * Niassa * Cabo Delgado.

 

 

In 2007 openned the Faculty of Health Sciences, also in Nampula, with about 140 students. In 2008 the university openned the Faculty of Enineering and Natural Sciences at the site of Cabo Delgado, in Pemba, with about 80 students.

 

The University expects to start in 2010 its activities at Niassa's site, on Sanga District, in Unango locality, and because of that decided that 2008/2009 would be reserved for construction of it's campus.
